you prefer a traditional style funeral or if you would like a
non-traditional ceremony, you can personalize the final
arrangements and we will help you prepare in many ways, including:
preparation, visitation, merchandise, and the final
disposition.
Preparing
Items to be brought with you when making funeral arrangements
with our funeral director include:
- Clothing, including under garments. (shoes are not
necessary)
- Military Discharge Papers
- Insurance Policies
- Deceased's Social Security Number & Date of Birth
- Clergy's Name & Phone Number
- Memorial Keepsakes
- Hairdresser's Name & Phone Number - we can assist you with
a hairdresser if need be
- Photos - A photo of your loved one to be included in the
obituary, if you wish, and for our "Celebration of Life" Memorial
Board
A death certificate is a legal document and it is necessary that
the information given be accurate and spelled correctly. The
following is information that is required for the death
certificate:
- Full legal name
- Address of the deceased
- Race and gender
- Date of birth
- Date of death
- Place of death (with city and county)
- Age
- Social Security Number
- Occupation - kind of business or industry
- Marital status
- Maiden name, if applicable
- Father's name
- Mother's maiden name
- Education
- Name of surviving spouse and family members
