Patsy Nell Jeffcoat Cook, 83, Born November 19, 1936 in McAllen, Texas. She passed away on October 6, 2020 at the Butterfly Hospice Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
She was a resident of Plaquemines Parish for most of her life and a resident of Walker, LA in the last years of her life. Patsy was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Henry Cook. She was preceded in death by her parents Clemon and Sara Elizabeth Jeffcoat. Also, proceeded in death by beloved sisters Doris Laverne Tarter and Sara Elisabeth Jeffcoat. Proceeded also in death by her brothers Randy Wayne Jeffcoat, Charles David Jeffcoat, and James Daniel Jeffcoat. Survivors of Patsy Cook are her two children Carl Wade Cook of Harlingen, Texas and Kim Dwain Cook of Holden, LA. She was survived by her 5 grandchildren, Jacob Wade Cook, Elisabeth Cook Douglass, Josiah Joel Cook, Abigail Cook Gribble and Alesia Cook Allen. Survived by 8 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was a beloved mother and grandmother. Services to be held at Central Baptist Church, on October 17, 2020. Visitation from 11:00 AM to noon with a service at noon. Address of the church is 17017 Florida Boulevard, Baton Rouge, LA 70819.
