On Sunday October 18th, 2020, Cecil Kenneth Verret, 69, of Denham Springs, was called home to our Lord and Savior. Born June 19th, 1951 in Loreauville, LA. to Cecil “Booby” L. Verret & Amelia Daigle Verret, he grew up in Bayou Sorrel, LA. He was employed with Iberville Insulations, LLC at Valero. Cecil loved his family and enjoyed watching LSU baseball and his Dallas Cowboys. He loved sharing those passions with his brother and his grandson. He leaves behind his loving wife, of 24 years, Carolyn S. Verret, Denham Springs. Stepsons, Stephen Bone and wife Christa, Walker, Michael Bone, Grangeville. Stepdaughter, Vanessa Browning, and her husband Brad “Happi” Denham Springs, Four grandchildren, Ashley Smith, Ethel, Ruby & Jonah Browning, Denham Springs and Kylie Anderson, Walker. Siblings, Les Verret, Bayou Sorrel, Misty Higgins & husband, Lee, Kerry “Smokey” Verret, and wife Lally and numerous nieces and nephews.
