Ben Magee (B.M.) Martin.
He passed away on Saturday, November 14 at Fidelis White Road in Denham Springs, LA. He was born February 13, 1932 in Walker, LA. Parents Magee and Nancy Selena (N.S.) Lockhart Martin in Walker. He was 88 years old and a seventy-year member of the Millwright Union. He was also a Freemason for many years. Life long resident of Watson. He is survived by two sons Bennie Martin and David Martin of Watson, four grandchildren; LeeAnn Shanez, Julie Milne, Jennifer La Cour, Janelle Martin, and numerous great-grandchildren. Six brothers; John R, Rex, Henry, James, Lattie, and Rocky, three sisters; Jewel Gilchrist, Fannie Williams, and Claudia Brooks. Preceded in death by parents, Magee and Nancy Selena (N.S.) Lockhart Martin of Walker and the mother of his children, Mildred Blount Martin. Visitation at Seale Funeral Home 12:00pm until 2:00pm on Thursday, November 19, 2020. Pastor Wes Courtney will conduct funeral services at 2:00pm. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be; Gene Gilchrist, Justin Martin, Tony Martin, Bill Martin, Luke Martin and Nathan Day. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the kind staff of Fidelis White Road.
