Kenny Dwain Morris

Kenny Dwain Morris, “Red Top” born on June 9, 1960, went to be with the Lord on November 17, 2020 at the age of 60. He was born in Shreveport and a resident of Walker. Kenny is survived by his wife, Carolyn; Children, Brian Marcus Carter of Lafayette, Tiffany Annette Jones of Gulfport, and Courtney Deshea Morris of Biloxi; Step-sons, Michael and Matthew Lynch; Grandchildren Grace, Noah, Elliot, Ason, Crimson, Alexis “Lulu”, and Brennan; Mother Charlene Morris; Step-father “Pete” Ziegler; Brothers Dudley, Hank, and Troy Morris; Sisters Cindy Macaluso, Debra Barrios, Anita Severio, and Stacy LeBlanc; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Kenny was full of life and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He had a passion for music, Elvis being his favorite. He loved to dance, especially jitterbugging with his Mother. He was also an avid football fan of LSU and the Dallas Cowboys. He was a hard worker and a dedicated manager for many years in the retail and grocery industry.

Kenny was preceded in death by his Father, Henry Frank Morris; Step-son Mitchell Lynch; Brothers Lonnie Morris and Bobby Morris; Paternal grandparents Odom and Edna Morris; and Maternal grandparents Clyde and Myrtis McAllister.

We begin to remember not that just you died, but that you lived, and that your life gave us memories too beautiful to in Our Hearts.

Pallbearers will be his brothers, Dudley and Hank, Jason LeBlanc, Bo Williamson, Brick Allen, and Jeremy Morris.

Services will be conducted by Pastor Herman Holland of New Day Christian Centre in Walker. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Saturday from 5:00-7:00 with services following at 7:00. There will be a graveside service on Sunday at 11:00 in Evergreen Memorial, located behind Seale Funeral Home.
