Jeaneane Diana “Jeanie” Tate Murray

Jeaneane “Jeanie” Diana Tate Murray passed away early Thursday morning on December 10, 2020, at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital. She was born in Covington, Louisiana on September 25, 1962, to her proud parents, Vaunice Toney Tate and the late James Carl Tate.
She was the loving wife of William P. Murray, precious mother to Bailey Katelynn Murray Carter, Jacob, Madelyn Brooke Murray, Payton Lee (fiancé), loving sister of Jacqueline T. and Mark LaFleur, Jeff and Terri Tate and Jimbo and Abby Tate, daughter in law of James and the late Barbara Murray, sister-in-law to Becky and Wally Rivette, Lisa and Ronald LeJeune, Kate and Larry Barbay, Debra and Gary Burkett, and James Murray, a loving aunt to nieces, nephews, and friends. An important part of our family is gone, but we know where she is and will reunite with her in Heaven one day.
Visitation will be held at Greenwell Springs Baptist Church on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 beginning at 12:00pm. Bro. Andy Stafford and Bro. George Threeton will conduct funeral services at 2:30pm. Burial will follow in Greenwell Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Please sign the online guestbook at
