Barry Drew Achee
June 7, 1956 ~ January 4, 2021
“I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine
for you all making request with joy, for the fellowship and the gospel from the first

Devoted father and grandfather, Barry Drew went to be with the lord on Monday,
January 4

, 2021 at his home in Pride. He is now singing in God’s heavenly choir
with his beloved father, Charles A. Achee. He had a passion for worshiping the
lord through music. He was an avid craftsmen, enjoyed wood work and creating
things with his hands. He was dearly loved by many and always left a trail of
laughter everywhere he went. Drew was an athlete all of his life, an avid weight
lifter, earning the nick name “Animal” which he wore with pride. Visiting at Seale
funeral home of Denham Springs, 1720 S. Range Ave., Denham Springs, on
Tuesday, January 12

, 2021 from 8:00am to 10:00am, until religious services at
10:00am, conducted by Rev. Jay Avance. Interment to follow in Hillcrest
Memorial Gardens at 11:30am.
He was survived by son Jacob Anthony Achee (Kristen), daughter Alayna Achee
Quave (Daniel), SGT. US Army; mother Edith Nell Achee; sisters Linda Achee
Callender, Laura Achee Metcalfe (Gary), sister-in-law Lelia Achee; grandchildren
Abbiegail E. Achee, Madelyn G. Achee, Adaleigh C. Achee, Anabelle J. Achee,
Dani D. Achee, step-grandchildren Darren J. Quave, Heath D. Quave, Jackson A.
Quave. Barry Drew was preceded in death by his father Charles A. Achee; brother
Gary M. Achee.
