Mr. Shirley Ray Reeder, 85, went to be with his Lord and Savior that he received two weeks before passing Monday, January 4, 2021 at his home with his family by his side. He worked for over 50 years as a carpenter and loved working with his hands. He was survived by his wife, Norma E. Reeder; children, Christopher Wayne Dale and Sherry Cashio; grandchildren, Stacey Renae Pickett, Michael Hunter Dale, Samantha D. Allen, Ashlie D. Allen, Cody W. Allen; great-grandchildren, Kameron Spann, Katy Parish, Karlie Parish, Dawson Allen, Rodney Wilson, Brilynn Allen; and his beloved dog, Tinkerbell; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by son, Danny Reeder; daughter, Barbara Ann Reeder; parents, Elmer and Minerva Reeder; sisters, Bonnie Atkins and Jean Brunhoeber; and brothers, Corbet and Ted Reeder. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, Saturday, January 9, from 12 p.m. until service at 2 p.m., officiated by Dr. Leo Miller.
