Aunt Billie Rae I am so heartbroken to lose you. I just got your Christmas card. Wish we could’ve have been together this summer. I know you and my Daddy are cutting up together with your sisters. Thanks for teaching me how to make chocolate biscuits, keeping me updated with all of the cousin happenings and showing off all of your beautiful grand and great grand babies. You’re humor and light filled a room always and will be greatly missed.
Hugs and love to all the family-I know you are hurting greatly. I hope to see you at her celebration of life.
Love,
Sheryl

One of the most delightful people I have ever met; she will be so very sadly missed by myself and many others. She always had a smile on her face and a giggle in her voice.

I didn’t get to spend a lot of time with Aunt Billy Rae. I will speak of the wonderful person I knew her to be. I knew her to be a strong woman, a fiercely loving mother, and a proud grandmother.
My heart breaks over this and for the family. I am truly sorry.
I want to thank you Jesus for welcoming your daughter into your loving arms.
I want to say thank you Aunt Billy Rae for sopped chocolate, wisdom, and a laugh I will remember for eternity.
My deepest sympathy,
April Smith

Dear Phil and family of Billie Rae,
We were so sad to hear of her passing due to complications of this horrid virus. She is now in a far better place than we are, safe in the arms of Jesus. Our prayers are with you all. May our merciful Lord bless you with strength, comfort and peace. Hold close to those precious memories that you have of her and the many times you shared with her.
Billie Rae and I were friends when we attended Louisiana College. Much love and sympathy to You and the extended family!
