Norman Lee Kelley

December 23, 1932 ~ January 12, 2021

Norman Lee Kelley passed away on January 12, 2021 at the age of 88. He was originally from Daviess County, Kentucky before moving to Baton Rouge, Louisiana to start his family. He served his country in the United States Air Force at the age of 18. He was a diesel mechanic by trade, and was a man of many talents that successfully completed anything he set out to do. Norman was a genuine person who would often help strangers in need and was always doing for others. He enjoyed the great outdoors through gardening, sharing his crop with family and friends, hunting and fishing. His greatest love was his family. He was survived by his son, Keith Kelley, his daughter, Tonyia Kelley Dornquast, son-in-law, Dave Hardy Hazelton, brother, Carroll Franklin Kelley and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Penny Kelley Fontenot, parents, Ernest Kelley and Matilda Sutton Kelley, siblings, Edna Mae Kelley Sims, Mary Ann Cox Smithhart, Ernest Denton Kelley. He was loved by all who knew him and will be dearly missed. The family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date. Please share your condolences at .
