William Asa “WA” Jeane

August 5, 1939 ~ February 3, 2021

 

 

William Asa “WA” Jeane, a native of Merryville, Louisiana and resident of Denham Springs, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at 6:02pm, at the age of 81. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Emerson and Flora Jeane; siblings, Mary Elizabeth Jeane Johnson, Louise Jeane Armes and Harlan Jeane ; granddaughters Ashlyn Jeane and Kristen Danielle Jeane.

 

He is survived by his wife, Doris Brown Jeane, of 60 years. His children; William Craig Jeane (Ronda), Kelli Jeane Quave (Robert), Kevin Jeane (Monique), Karen Jeane Deel (Mark), and Kirkland Jeane. His grandchildren, Mikayla Lindsey, Kyle Deel, Kristen Deel, Amberly Jeane, Angelina Johnson, Derek and Micah Quave, Brandon and Blake Jeane, Ava, Ana and Aly Jeane. His great-grandchildren, Darien and Breanna Johnson, Mila Quave, Taetum and Reese Lindsey.

 

WA’s career was as a drywall contractor and he was well respected in the community. He made his choice as a young man to follow the teachings of Jesus and was faithful to that choice his entire life. He will be missed by his family and friends, but his example of faithfulness will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

 

Services held at Seale Funeral Home, 1720 S Range Ave, Denham Springs, LA 70726, on February 7, 2021. The viewing will be from 12:00pm to 2:00pm. A private funeral will be held at 2:00pm. Please sign the online guestbook at
