Lurline Horton Willis

September 1, 1938 ~ February 10, 2021

Lurline Horton Willis, 82, went to be with her Lord Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at her home in Denham Springs, LA. Lurline loved to cook and serve those around her. She had a true servant’s heart. She loved her Lord, her church and her family. She truly adored all of her grandchildren. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, sister, church member and friend and she will be missed dearly by all who knew her. Visitation will be held at Fundamental Baptist Church, Frost, LA, Friday, February 12, from 5 p.m. until service at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 13. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Greg Gobert; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Lucille Willis; sister, Wanda Young; and numerous grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Willis; daughter Ione Willis; and parents, James and Rachael Horton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fundamental Baptist Church Missions.
