Alba Marisol Harmon, 51, passed away Monday, February 22, 2021 at her home in Baton Rouge, LA. She was a native of Tela, Honduras and worked for many years at East Side Elementary in Denham Springs, serving the children meals and a warm smile. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend and she will be missed dearly by all who knew her. She is survived by her children Joel “Manny” Harmon (Tricia Lambert), Nydia Harmon, Damaris Cruz (Eduardo); grandchildren, Katalina, Nylah, Tatiana “Tati”, Max, and Jaslyn; siblings, Rosa, Oscar, Rigo, and Julieta. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joel Harmon; and brother, Porfirio. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, Friday, February 26 from 12 p.m. until memorial service at 4 p.m. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and friends of East Side Elementary for their kindness and support shown during this difficult time. Merisol was always smiling and ready to help me with anything I needed. (from serving food, cleaning up a spill or helping me understand spanish) I will always remember how much she loved her children and grandchildren. Rest in Peace sweet Merisol.
