Paul Wayne Stevenson

December 23, 1939 ~ February 24, 2021

Paul Wayne Stevenson passed away at his home on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 6:35 a.m. at the age of 81, with his wife by his side. He had been battling lung cancer. He was a resident of Baton Rouge. He is survived by his wife, Donna Stevenson of 18 years; daughters, Amanda Watkins and Kathy (Darryl) Rice; step-children, Donna (Dwayne) Blanc, Mark Martinez, Karen (Kelly) Kemp, Jill Edmonson, and Holly (Shane) Wells; eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; brother, Pete (Lois) Stevenson; brother-in-law, Wayne Kinder; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Andrew and Azlene Stevenson of El Dorado, AR; and sister, Patsy Kinder and his beloved dog, Missy. He served his country in the United State Army and was a supervisor at Exxon Plastics before retiring. He will be missed by his ROMEO group (Retired Old Men Eating Out). Paul was an avid LSU Tiger fan and loved NASCAR races. Friends and family are invited to his memorial service, Sunday, February 28, with visitation from 1 p.m. until service at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Springhill McGee Cemetery, Franklinton, LA.
