Harry “Pollo” Delano Elwin, age 71, passed away peacefully in his home on February 26, 2021. Harry was born April 4, 1949 on the Caribbean island of Roatan, Honduras to be a man of the sea. He sailed the Caribbean as the Captain of his lobster and shrimp boat before becoming a merchant marine, where he sailed the seas of the world. In 1972, Harry met and married his loving and devoted wife, Annie Lee Bennett, with whom he had four (4) beautiful children. He was also blessed with many grandchildren. When not at sea, Harry’s love filled his home with family, friend’s music, dancing, and sports.

Harry is survived by: his loving wife, Annie Lee; his children Gregory, Melissa, and Sherisa; his grandchildren Arianna Leblanc, Hailey Bealer, Bryleigh Rae Elwin, Elizabeth Hay, Braylon Stuard, and Eli Stuard; brothers Wendel Elwin and Sonny Jones; and sisters Margarette Arch Monalee Thompson, Ester Thompson, and Jackie Jones.

He was preceded in death by: his parents Vera Jones and Percy Haward Elwin; his son Darren; his grandchildren Gabreilla Nicole Elwin and Matea Darren Elwin; brother Hummer Elwin; and his grandparents Elizabeth and Frank Elwin, and Tersalina and Gustave Jones.
