Charles “Charlie” R. Dupre, Sr.

February 6, 1947 – March 25, 2021

A loving Father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend went to his eternal home on Thursday, March 25, 2021. He was 74 years old. He was a free-spirited guy that loved spending time with his family and friends. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his son, Charles R. Dupre, Jr.; daughter, Della Dupre Fontenot; six grandchildren, Kirsten Ward, Katherine Dupre, Andrew Goodwin, Britney Fontenot, Megan Fontenot Breeden, Brody Fontenot; three great grandchildren, Antonio, Mario, Josiah; three brothers, Kenneth Dupre and wife Glenda, Randall Dupre and wife Helen, Gene Dupre and wife Sheryl, Ricky Soileau; sister, Mae Dell Guillory and husband Larry “Gino”; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Dupre; parents, Marius Dupre and Della Dupre and his step mother, Joyce Dupre.
