Leslie Virgil Webb

June 6, 1928 ~ April 9, 2021

Leslie Virgil Webb, 92, recently of Baton Rouge, passed peacefully at home, April 9.

At the end of World War II, Virgil served briefly in the US Navy. Later, he served a few years in the US Army.

Born in a small town in Texas to Charlie Lee and Idabel Webb, he went on to live in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arizona, California and Hawaii.

In civilian life, he was a mechanic, inventor and family man. 

He’ll be laid to rest in late May, at the Greenville Cemetery in Kennefick, Texas next to his late wife of 44 yrs.

Virgil is survived by two daughters – Terry Webb Head of Baton Rouge and Ann Webb Amrani of Scottsdale, Arizona..

Survived by eight grandchildren – Aubrey Head, Harmony Head, Salace Head, Nicholas Marino, Carissa Marino, Trice Head, Conan Head and Juliette Poland… And four great grandchildren.

Survived also by one sister, Ann Webb lots of nieces and nephews.

He’s preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Graham Webb.

Also, both his parents, two brothers and three loved him dearly.
