Nina Mylinda “Linda” O’Bryant Cockerham

Nina Mylinda “Linda” Cockerham, 70, of Denham Springs, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2021. Linda was the co-owner of O’Bryant’s Auction and Kelinda’s Flea Market with her husband, Kelvin. She was a member of Hebron Baptist Church. She was also a longtime member and served on the board of the Live Oak Sports Association. She even served as a coach and umpire in her many years of service. Linda was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be missed dearly by all who knew her. Visitation will be held at Hebron Baptist Church, Tuesday, April 13, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will resume, Wednesday, April 14, from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Kelvin Cockerham; her four daughters and sons-in-law, April and Blackie Rushing, Angela and Mike Law, Amy Lucas, and Ashleigh and Jimmy Dickerson; grandchildren, Blaine, Victoria, Brianna, Allen Mykel, Christian, Trip, and Emma, as well as numerous “adopted” grandchildren; her siblings and their spouses, Sandra and Ronnie Wesley, Fleet Jr and Stephanie O’Bryant, Gail Hall, and Billy O’Bryant; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fleet Sr. and Nina O’Bryant; and sister, Darlene O’Byrant. Please share your condolences at .
