David Dake went home to be with his Heavenly Father on April 15, 2021. He was 61 years old, a native of Walker and an estimator and employee of Performance Contractors for 34 years. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Gin Dake; his daughters and sons-in law, Mandy Dake; Vincent & Sonya Burgo; Dung & Ginger Nguyen, 7 grandchildren and 3 sisters. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack & Daisy Dake. Services will be held on Monday, April 19, at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until services at 2 p.m. with burial immediately following conducted by Randy Hall. Pallbearers will be family & friends: Jonathan LaGrone, Joey LaGrone, Chris Felton, Jeremy Felton, Rusty Bishop, Nicholas Burgo & Timmy Hymel. Honorary pallbearers: Joe Territa, Phillip Alford & Bud Alford. A special thanks to the Fresenius Kidney Care Mancuso Home Dialysis Program, especially Karen RN and Chip RN, St. Joseph Hospice and The Carpenter House doctors, nurses and staff.
