Jane Martin Rousseau

March 7, 1938 – April 16, 2021

On the morning of April 16, 2021, the Lord called Jane Martin Rousseau home after a long battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. Born March 7, 1938 in Denham Springs, La to Sidney and Sadie Martin. She was 1 of 6 children. After marrying her high school sweetheart Marvin Rousseau in 1955, they started a life in Denham Springs, La. Marvin and Jane owned Southside Produce and J&M Market. Survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Marvin Rousseau; 4 beautiful children Marvin “Joe” Rousseau Jr. and Mary Langley, Monica “Mickey” and Jim Woodrow, Michelle Castellano, Michael and Jan Rousseau; sisters Marguerite (Louis) Harris and Sherrill (John) Hedgepeth along with many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. A gathering will be held on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 from 4:30pm until Celebration of Life at 6pm. She’s preceded in death by parents Sydney and Sadie Martin, brothers AR “Sonny” Martin, Donald Ray “Scratch” Martin, Sister Luvenia “Beanie” (Daryl) Bozeman, daughter-in-law Olean Rousseau and son-in-law Joe Castellano.
