Gary was my brother – what can I say. All I can say will not be enough. I’m still having trouble believing you are gone. I think of all our fishing trips (just you and I together) and how much fun we had no matter if we caught fish or not. Many, many memories I WILL remember for the rest of my until I see you again. Rest in peace, brother – you are now free of hurt and pain !! I’m so glad in that regard. We will always miss you !

Every night I take a minute and go outside, search into the sky, upon the stars, toward the moon and think of you. I know the silver lining with hurricane Laura- It brought you closer to us. I’m so grateful that we shared this past year together- with the Weaver kids- carpooling Reese and fighting over snacks 😉 and especially your songs to Hollis “Fat Belly Weaver.” I MISS YOU so much. Watch over us. Until I see you again

You were one of a kind and never met a stranger. Everyone fell in love with you! You were a larger than life character and anyone who met you knows exactly what I’m talking about. I wish I could’ve hugged your neck one last time. I’ll miss all your one liners. You were always full of jokes. You kept us laughing non stop. Your precious rendition of somewhere over the rainbow is with us and we’ll see you again. You’ll be sorely missed. We love you Buck! I can’t believe you’re gone.

He was married to my cousin Debbie. Even after they divorced he still considered us family and we considered him family. Rest in peace.

Buck I have listened to your song to Hollis over 10 times. Bayou Baby. You loved life, your children and your grandchildren. In their hearts you will be bigger than life. Hopefully all your stories will be shared to everyone. God has called you home. I know there will be a fishing hole up in Heaven. You are now safe and with no pain
