Veronica Lynne Smith Hickman

July 27, 1975 ~ May 7, 2021

Veronica passed away Friday, May 7, 2021 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge at the age of 45. She was a resident of Denham Springs. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs, Thursday, May 13, 2021 from 12:00 PM until religious services at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park. The family please requests that no flowers be sent, but donations be made in the Memory of Veronica to either, the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA), Post Office Box 97075, Washington D.C. 20090 or to St. Jude Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Veronica is survived by her husband of 21 years, Danny Hickman; mother, Marjorie Smith; brothers, Bill Smith and wife Cissy and Matthew Smith and wife Amy; sister-in-law, Karen Hickman Agnew and husband Ron; brothers-in-law, Kenny Hickman, Kevin Hickman, Michael Hickman, Dennis Hickman and Ryan Hickman and wife Deidra and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, William Smith, Sr.; father-in-law, Allen Hickman and mother-in-law, Mary Anne Hickman. She was a graduate of Woodlawn High School Class of 1993 and was a graduate of Medical Training College. She loved Scrapbooking and enjoyed going to movies, traveling, going to the casino to play keno, betting on football, spending time with friends and family and baking.
