Kenneth “Kenny” Paul Bennett, 69, passed away peacefully at his home Monday, May 17, 2021 in Central, LA.  He worked for many years as an industrial fire fighter and also instructed at LSU Fire Academy. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend and will be missed dearly by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Sherry Bennett; sons, Jeremy David Bennett and wife, Melissa, and Cody Bennett and wife, Ellen; grandchildren, Sean, Gavin, and Brynn; sisters, Cindy Atwood, and Marilyn Warren and husband John; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relative. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Bennett; and sister, Becky Martien. The family will hold a private celebration of his life at a later date.
