Leah Fletcher Landaiche

December 22, 1961 ~ June 28, 2021

Leah Fletcher Landaiche, age 59, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in Saint Gabriel, LA during the early morning hours of June 28, graduated high school as Valedictorian at Leysin American School in Switzerland, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of New Orleans. Leah worked for Blue Cross/Blue Shield for 20 years, and was currently a Para-professional with the public school system in Ascension Parish, LA. Leah loved to travel, and lived in Alabama, Louisiana, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, Switzerland, and Arkansas during her life. She enjoyed hiking, camping, and cruises with family and friends. Leah was an active member of the Baton Rouge Rose Society for many years, enjoyed reading a good thriller, playing piano, and dancing on a night out. Leah had a lifetime devotion to cats, and recently rescued a small dog, who became her constant companion. Leah was born to Curtis and Kathleen Fletcher in Mobile, Alabama. She is survived by her husband Keith Landaiche, his children: Steven, Brandi, Megan, and Tyler, and their children; his sister Jerrianne Jacob and husband Ricky, and her children: Aaron, Kevin, and Carmen, and their children; Leah’s father Curtis Fletcher; her brother Barry Fletcher and his son Christopher; her brother Lynn Fletcher, his wife Danielle, and their son Steven; and her sister Terri McCoy and her husband Michael. Family and friends are invited to Leah’s last tailgate on Saturday, July 10, at the home of Kelvin and Tracy York, 3635 Golden Gate Drive, St. Gabriel, Louisiana.
