Burt Kemp

October 13, 1942 ~ July 6, 2021

Burt Kemp passed away at his home in Ponchatoula on Tuesday July 6, 2021, at the age of 78. Burt was retired from AT&T repair and communications. He was a graduate of Denham Springs High School and was in the US Navy Blue Angels from 1961-1965. Burt loved boating, fishing and building the camp where so many memories were made. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Loraine Kemp, step daughter Carrie Smith Robinson & husband Skipper, stepson Jeff Smith & wife Amie, grandchildren Ronnie Pourciau (wife Cara), Madison, BreAnna & Caden Smith, great grandchildren Hunter & Mason Pourciau, two nephews James Kemp & family & Kris Kemp. He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence Kemp and Melva Watts Kemp and brother Jim Kemp. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Saturday July 17, 2021 from 11am-2pm.
