Patrick O’Neil Dennis

November 21, 1965 ~ June 25, 2021

Patrick O’neil Dennis, age 55, passed away June 25,2021 at his home holding his beloved wife, Grace’s hand.  He was surrounded by family and friends.  Pat was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend.  He worked for B&C Sheet Metal for 12 years.  He worked in the industry for nearly 40 years.  Pat was more than a sheet metal worker.  He was an artist, and his canvas was metal.  He was wise among his peers and loved sharing his knowledge as a mentor and teacher for Sheet Metal Local 214.    He wanted to teach anyone with the desire to learn. He loved teaching almost as much as he loved creating.  He loved volunteering his time going to welding competitions and being a judge at local high schools.  Pat had many hobbies.  As a young adult, Pat was involved in Golden Gloves boxing.  Pat loved his wife Grace and their shared love of music.  He would often talk of the “jam sessions” that he had with his wife playing guitar.  He enjoyed playing music, fishing, teaching his son, Christian how to box, working on his property and making things with metal.  Pat also enjoyed talking about politics.  He shared his opinion.  He was an enthusiastic supporter of Trump and the MAGA movement.  Pat also loved to talk about the word of God.  He was a member of Christ Community Church and was a huge believer in CR also known as Celebrate Recovery.  He was baptized in the river at Camp Living Waters along with his grandchildren.  Pat will be missed by all who knew him. Pat leaves behind to cherish his memories, his beloved wife, Grace Dennis, son, Christian Urbona, two daughters, Brittany and Brandy Dennis, brothers, Chris Dennis and Samuel Fernandez and sister Pamela Davis, his In-laws from the Philippines, grandchildren, host of nieces and nephews.  Proceeded in death was his father, Frank Irven Dennis, and Mother, Malin Faye Brandes Dennis.

His family invites you to join in the Celebration of Patrick’s life held at Christ’s Community Church on Thursday, July 15, 2021.  Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm – 5:30 pm with a brief service conducted by Pastor Willis Easley.  Place of Service 26574 Juban Road, Denham Springs, La 70726.
