Wesley Kent Miller, Sr
A loving son, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, he was a resident of Ethel, passed away at the Butterfly Wing on Friday, July 30, 2021 at the age of 72. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs on Monday, August 2, 2021 beginning at 11:00am. Bro. Buck Hughes will conduct funeral services in the funeral home chapel at 1:00pm. Burial will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. He is survived by son, Wesley “Kent” Miller, Jr. and wife Tammy, three grandchildren; Kimberly VanDinther and husband Alex, Kayla Hoy and husband Steven, and Justin Miller and wife Hunter-Lynne, nine great-grandchildren, mother, Ruby Mary Martin Miller, and brother-in-law, Perry Parent, nephew, Paul Parent and wife Brittany and great-nephew, Owen Parent. He was preceded in death by his father, Burl Wesley Miller, two children, Shara Kaye Miller and Jerry Dwayne Miller, and sister, Pauline “Penny” Miller Parent. Pallbearers will be; Kent Miller, Jr., Justin Miller, Alex VanDinther, Steven Hoy, Paul Parent, and CoCo Saltzman. He enjoyed spending time with his family and will be dearly missed. Dear Wes, I will always remember you fondly. Even after we lost contact I think of you often. You made me laugh and cry and get drunk on margaritas. Someday I hope we will meet again and laugh as we used to.

Only learned today of your passing here in Atlanta.
Still remember you as my best man at our wedding.
