Pamela “Pam” Ann Toups passed at her home on Friday, July 30th 2021 in the evening in Denham Springs, LA.   She was born on September. 6th 1952.  She was born in Baton Rouge, LA and she resided near her family in Denham Springs, La.  Pamela enjoyed almost everything in life but some of her favorite things were spending time with family, eating good Louisiana Cajun food, being in the water swimming, going to beach, listening to music, going to concerts and she loved to draw and wrote beautiful poetry.  She loved Jesus and had a special relationship with Jesus and loved to go to church with her family.  She was baptized with her daughter Deanna on Sept. 21st 2014 at First Pentecostal Church of Denham Springs.  She was a kind-hearted woman and loved by everyone who knew her.  She found beauty in the simple things in life like basking in the sun, looking at butterflies and nature.  She enjoyed many years working at different jobs including restaurants and was a beautician.  In the last 12 years, she has enjoyed traveling with family and attending different extracurricular activities with her grandchildren and great grandchild.  She is survived by her son, Anthony Yeargain from Sand Springs, OK, her oldest daughter, Shawn Painter of Prairieville, LA and her husband Gerald, daughter Deanna Fortier and husband Joe of Denham Springs, LA and Brooke Weins of Morris, OK and her husband Jeremy.  Also, 8 grandchildren with one on the way in February and 1 great grandchild who were all her whole heart. She is survived by her sister Barbara Hull from Walker, LA and her husband Russell Hull Sr. and sister-in-law Pat Toups and 5 nieces and 1 nephew. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Charlotte Toups and Annie Quinn, parents Clifton and Clara Toups, brother George Toups and many aunts and uncles and cousins.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Viewing from 9-11 am on Tuesday, August 3rd and service to follow at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs, LA.  We will conclude with the graveside service at Resthaven Gardens of Memory in Baton Rouge, LA.  The family would like Bother Colin McClendon of First Pentecostal Church of Denham Springs for presiding over her funeral services.  Please keep the family and friends in your prayers as we navigate through this grief.    The family respectfully requests that donations be made in Pam’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America at: alzfdn.org/donate

Ms. Pam, you were a kind sweet soul and someone I always enjoyed spending time with. I will always remember the week you spent with me at my house where we stayed up all night eating ice cream. I loved fixing your hair and making you feel pretty. I loved our gossip sessions and always seeing your pretty smile when I walked in the room when you were there. You will be sorely missed by all who loves you. Rest easy in paradise, you’ve earned those wings my girl. ♥️
