Marvin Edward Efferson

August 11, 1954 – August 14, 2021

Marvin Edward Efferson passed away Saturday, August 14, 2021 at his home in Walker at the age of 67. He was the owner and operator of Babe’s Tree Service in Walker. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Christ Community Church in Denham Springs from 11:00 AM until religious services at 2:00 PM conducted by Pastor Willis Easley. Burial will follow at Old Red Oak Cemetery in Livingston. He is survived by his loving wife, Denera Ryan Efferson; daughters, Kiesha Poston and her husband Donald and Jena Efferson; brother, Larry Efferson; grandchildren, Brayden, Cailin, Camryn, Logan, Riley, John and Ruby. He was preceded in his death by his parents, James V. Efferson and Christina Lee Wascom Efferson; brothers, James “Jimmy” Efferson and Glen Michael Efferson and his grandparents. He was a member of Christ Community Church in Denham Springs. Memorial donations may be made to Christ Community Church, 26574 Juban Road, Denham Springs, LA 70726.
