Richard Joseph Hennessy, Sr

April 26, 1956 ~ August 26, 2021

On August 26, 2021 Richard Joseph Hennessy, beloved father and Papa, passed  away in Baton Rouge at the age of 65. Rick was born in Dorchester,MA to the late Robert and Evelyn (Kelly) Hennessy of Quincy,MA,  later marrying Nanci (Watson) in 1979. Rick mastered his craft of painting and restoration while running a successful business in Baton Rouge for 35 years. A lover of food, music, friends and Yellowstone, he was truly an original that could always put a smile on anyone’s face. Rick  was the most proud of his children. He is survived by Kelly, Stacy, Ricky Jr., Danny, grandchildren Ava, Aubreigh, Rowan, dogs Cedes and Sam, brothers Robert, Ronald (late),James, Joseph.
