Donna Sue Tetrick

October 12, 1935 ~ August 26, 2021

Donna Sue Tetrick, age 85, of Denham Springs, Louisiana, went to be with the Lord on August 26, 2021, at her home.  She was born on October 12, 1935 in Higgins, Texas to the late John Deckman and Gracie Howlett.

Donna is survived by her loving husband, Glen L. Tetrick.  Donna and Glen met in Independence, Kansas in 1953 and were married for 67 years.  The two were each other’s lifelong companions and friends.  They were blessed with four children, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  Donna enjoyed quilting, fishing, and traveling with her husband.  She took great pride in gifting all her grandchildren with a beautiful quilt when they married.

She was the mother of Craig Tetrick (Melanie), Clint Tetrick (Penny), and the late Curtis Tetrick and infant child, Cass Tetrick.

She is also survived by grandchildren, Cody Tetrick, Jennifer Tetrick Burrell, Russell Tetrick, Allison Tetrick Wallace, Ashley Tetrick Friedman, Landon Lockwood, and Brooklyn Tetrick.  Great-grandchildren, Graham Tetrick, Valerie Burrell, Rhett Burrell, Nora Wallace, Brylee Pickens, Brody Pickens, Garren Baggett, Jack Lockwood and Mason Jones.  She is preceded in death by her grandson, Ricky Tetrick.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021.  Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm with the service to follow at 2:00 pm.   First Christian Church, 8484 Old Hammond Highway, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70809.
