Michael Wayne Quin

Michael Wayne Quin, 79, of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021. Michael lived a full and active life. He served our country by enlisting in the United States Navy and remained a proud Veteran throughout his life. He was an active member of the Baton Rouge Navy Club and AA. He owned a successful roofing company and provided contract roofing services for Sears for many years. Michael deeply loved his family and friends. His tall stature and lively, fun personality lit up every room. If he met a stranger, he quickly converted them into a friend. His generous, loving spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife, Lynda Burns Quin; children and their spouses, Kaya Quin Lambert (Brian), Little Mike Quin, Matthew Quin (Tracy), Lynda Slade (Jack), and Kathy Verdun (Randy); sister Linda Quin Vallet (Johnny) and several grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Millard and Myrtha Quin; and brother, Charlie Quin. In lieu of flowers, donations in Michael’s name may be made to the Louisiana Veterans Home or the Baton Rouge Navy Club. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, Friday, September 10, from 12 p.m. until service at 2 p.m. Please share your condolences at .
