Edith Lang

April 13, 1940 ~ September 2 2021

Edith “Rosalie” Lang, 81, passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2021, in Plano, Texas. Rosalie was born on April 13, 1940, in Port Vincent, Louisiana to Carey and Leola Page. Rosalie graduated from Denham Springs High School and began a 35 year career as a telephone operator with Bellsouth Telecommunications shortly after. Her retirement afforded lots of opportunities to travel and visit her daughters and grandchildren. Rosalie was a loving mom, granny, and great grandma. She was described by all who knew her as “so sweet.” Rosalie’s favorite pastime was reading. As her mobility declined in her later years she enjoyed keeping up with family and friends through frequent telephone calls. She was a devout Christian and served most recently as a member of Satsuma Baptist Church. She enjoyed attending services at assisted living after she moved away from Louisiana in 2016. Rosalie was preceded in death by her father, Carey O Page; mother, Leola Galloway Page; three sisters, Lois Theriot, Marie Blount, and Mary Roberthon; and one brother, Romie Page. Those left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Charlene (Lynn) Jones and Sandra (Gary) Sensebe; five grandchildren, Christopher (Tiffany) Jones, Cherie (Aaron) Gough, Casie (Will) Walker, Madeline (Jake) Means, Matthew (Danielle) Jones; six great-grandchildren, Jackson, Eli and Charlotte Jones, Kinsley Gough, and AimeĆ© and Jean-Luc Jones; three sisters, Glenda Bennett, Ann Gayle, and Barbara McLin; one brother, Edward Page; “honorary” grandson, Josh Horn; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021, from 8:30 am until the Funeral Service at 10:00 am at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs. Interment will be in Felder Cemetery. Reverend Steve Horn will officiate. Pallbearers will be Christopher Jones, Aaron Gough, Will Walker, Jake Means, George Matherne, Jr., and Joey Matherne.
