Darren Sean Didier

December 5, 1966 – September 10, 2021

Darren Sean Didier, 54, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on September 10, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 5, 1966 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Homer and Ruby Nell (Bond) Didier. Darren was a faithful servant to his church Don Avenue Baptist for many years where he served as a deacon and on several committees, including serving as church trustee. He taught Sunday School and was always ready and willing to serve. Darren was also a loyal and devoted worker. He worked for Bercen Chemicals for over 38 years where he worked as a Senior Operator, a Chemical Operator and more recently as a Laboratory Technician. Darren was a loving husband, dad and friend and loved spending time with his family. He also enjoyed going fishing and bowhunting. He was a devoted family man and spent his entire life providing for and caring for his family. Darren is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Christine (Tina) Simoneaux, step-son; Chase Mayers, daughter; Danielle Didier, son; Layne Didier.  He is also survived by his mother, Ruby Nell (Bond) Didier, brother; Fabian Didier, nephews; Juston, Brantley, Gunner and Micah. He is preceded in death by his father, Homer Didier. Friends and family will serve as pall bearers. Please join us at his celebration of life service Thursday morning September 16, 2021. Visitation is from 9:00 am – 11:00 am with service officiated by Pastor Tom Higginbotham beginning at 11:00 am at Don Avenue Baptist Church, 1010 Don Avenue, Denham Springs, LA 70726 with Interment at Denham Springs Memorial Park to follow.
