Glenda Friedman Young, a resident of Denham Springs passed away at the St. Joseph Carpenter House on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at the age of 82. She was born on November 1, 1938 in Denham Springs. Visitation will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church on Monday, November 1, 2021 beginning at 10:00am. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by Father Matthew Graham. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, George E. Young, children; Pammy Brunner, Tammy Young, Sandy Thompson (Jay) and Toni Watts (Kevin); 15 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Donald Young (Devin) , parents, John Sr., and Jennie Friedman, sisters, Joan F. Cox, Elizabeth F. Booker, and Susan F. Tate, and brother, John Friedman, Jr. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to The Immaculate Conception Ladies Guild. She loved taking trips with her sisters. Her favorite place was the Smokey mountains. She loved her family and her church, and Halloween. Her nieces and nephews have many memories of her haunted houses. To the family, I am deeply sorry for your loss. I believe I met her when I was child. I have memories of my Grandma, Helen Magyar, taking me and my brother Russell to her house when we were visiting. May she rest in peace.

Iam so sorry for yalls loss. . I never got to meet her but I know she was a awesome woman because she raised 2 awesome ladies that I know . With big hearts and care about everyone .. God please watch over this family ..
