Roger L Cotton, a resident of Denham Springs born 7-16-41, died peacefully Wednesday 11-3-21. He’s with Jesus singing and playing his guitar. He loved to fish and play with his son’s dog whom he called Killer, he’s all of 4” tall. Roger was the sweetest and kindest person you ever met. He never had a negative thought and you can’t say that about many people. He was a blessing to all that crossed his path and would do anything for anybody. He rode in the rodeos and parades right along with Jimmy Davis, he was a cowboy through and through. He served in the U.S. Army and proudly served his country. Roger had such a sweet spirit and will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Peggy and his son Tony and wife Morna, his brother Ray and his wife Linda, step daughter Karen Travis, stepson David Jenks, sister in law Sharon Rushing and many cousins, grandchildren, and lots of friends. He touched so many lives and left a smile wherever he went, he is now in the loving arms of Jesus. He will be buried in the Veteran’s Cemetery in Pride Port Hudson on Friday, November 12, 2021. A graveside service at 10 AM will take place at the Louisiana National Cemetery on November 12, 2021. and a celebration of life service will follow at the Arceneaux’s at 19821 Tucker Road Zachary, LA 70791.
