Charles Walton Kahl

Charles Walton Kahl a resident of Baton Rouge and a previous resident of Jennings, Louisiana went to be with the our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at the age of 91. A few of his many accomplishments: a US Marine, a retired Supervisor in the Petrochemical Industry, a published author – written several books, an accomplished artist with numerous paintings, a story teller and poet – always was making everyone laugh, and even drove a NASCAR at Daytona. He never met a stranger and was always looking for opportunities to pray with people. Viewing will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Monday, November 22, 2021 at Seale Funeral Home, 1720 S. Range Blvd, Denham Springs, La. Funeral Services will follow immediately after at 11 a.m. Service will be conducted by Rev. Alan McBride. The burial will be at the Sibley Cemetery in Walker, La.. Charles was a devoted husband and is survived by his wife, Miriam Kahl. His deceased wife was Mary Henrietta Kahl. He had two sons, Donald Kahl and his wife Maureen Kahl and his deceased son is Michael Kahl, Sr.. Grandchildren are Donald. Kahl, Andrew Brister, Luke Kahl, Michael Kahl Jr, Gabby Kahl Smith, and Joey Kahl. Great grandchildren are Abby Kahl, Aniya Kahl, Alyah Kahl, Mike Kahl III, Paisley Kahl, Enoch Kahl, Kinsley Kahl, Zoey Kahl, Haven Kahl, Charli Smith and Beckham Smith. Brother, Clifford Kahl. Members of his step family are Perry Dougherty and his wife, Julianna Dougherty, and Karen McBride and her husband Alan McBride. The step grandchildren are William McBride, Laura McBride, Allison McBride, Aaron Dougherty, Harrison Dougherty, and Jacob Dougherty.
