MARGARET ELAINE POSEY LOWRY – 10/29/1931 – 12/02/2021

Margaret passed away December 2, 2021 at the age of 90. Margaret was

the fourth of six children born to Otis W. Posey, Sr. and Annie Bell (Sally)

Posey, and was the last of her siblings to pass away. She was born in

Baton Rouge, where she resided the majority of her life, until relocating to

Denham Springs a few years ago. Margaret was a homemaker and a

wonderful cook. She will be remembered as a loving Mother, which was

her most cherished position in life, as well as a beloved Aunt to a number

of nieces and nephews. Margaret is survived by her son, Arthur Lloyd

Lowry, Jr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur L. Lowry,

Sr., parents, Otis W. Posey, Sr., and Annie Bell (Sally) Posey, a sister,

Hazel P. Roussel, and brothers, Otis W. Posey, Jr, Lynn W. Posey, Sr,

Don Leo Posey and Milford R. Posey, Sr. A graveside service will take place Wednesday December 22, 2021 at Roselawn Memorial Cemetery. There will be a short visitation from 2:00-2:30 PM with a 2:30 PM graveside service.
