A native of Bogalusa and a resident of Denham Springs passed away at his home on Tuesday, December 21, 2021.
If you asked a hundred people who William “Bill” Moss was, they’d all give you a different story. He was a storyteller that could keep everyone captivated with wild scenes and absolute advice. These tales came from Bill’s love of travel, welcoming personality, and willingness to listen with open ears.
Bill was born in New Orleans on September 6, 1946. Through a tough childhood between Bogalusa, Slidell, and New Orleans, he became a special man of family, friendship, and wisdom. After attending UNO and LSU, he started his career at The Bank of New Orleans, Louisiana National Bank and MMR. In 1992 he created his own company, C&A Associates, Inc. in Baton Rouge. Bill would never fully know the lasting impact he would create on the banking and technology industry, or on his employees he considered family.
Through his far-reaching network of friends, Bill will always be remembered as a person you wanted to sit next to. He was a person that would give what he could to help his family, friends, and anyone in need; providing an honest opinion when no one else would and show you the world if you were willing to believe in him.
Bill is survived by his wife of 38 years, Cindy LeBouef Moss; his son Matthew Moss and wife Amanda; grandchildren Braxton, Mila, Madisynn, Hannah & Jacob Moss; daughters-in-law Angela Moss Helton and Lori Moss Arnette. Bill was preceded in death by his sons William Coakley II and Daniel Brister Moss, his mother and father Maxine Dunlap and William C. Moss.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday January 8, 2022, at Greystone Country Club in Denham Springs, LA. from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.
A special thank you to his doctor’s Jones Samuel, Michael Conners III and Fred Petty for their compassion and excellent care.
