Zachery James Gunter, 21, of St. Francisville, LA, and resident of Denham Springs, passed away Sunday, January 2, 2022. Zach was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved hanging out with his family and friends and most of all, just being β€œZack”! Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, Friday, January 7, from 4 p.m. until service at 7 p.m. and visitation to resume unitl 9 p.m. He is survived by his parents, Kevin β€œRedneck” Gunter and Lizzie Gunter; brother, Dawson Granier; aunts and uncles, Rebecca Granier, Renee Gunter, Stevie Granier (Brittany), John Gunter (Brandi); numerous cousins; maternal grandparents, Loretta and James Jouty; paternal grandparents, John C. and Beverly Gunter, and Terry Mayeaux; as well as many friends who will miss his presence in their lives. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Charlotte Mayeaux; and maternal grandfather, Steve Granier. Please share your condolences at www.sealefuneral.com.

    Renee, I’m so truly sorry for this loss. When a child is called home wayyyy too soon, it’s hard to understand God’s logic. I find myself at times still asking “why my son?!” Sending heart felt love and many prayers to you, your family and your brother and his wife. This is never easy and it’s unnatural for a parent to bury a child. May God be with you all thru this time and the years to come.

    My prayers go out to family & friends. I saw Zack on several occasions when he was at my house visiting. He was always polite and respectful. He will soar high and watch below . It was a pleasure to meet you.

    Zach was an amazing person who had a beautiful spirit about him. Anyone who met Zach was influenced by him. He was a wonderful person. His parents made sure he turned out to be the wonderful spirit he was.
