Joseph “Joey” Morgan Slocum, Jr., 55, of Denham Springs, LA, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022. Joey was an avid hunter and fisherman. He had a special love for his labs. Joey will be missed dearly by all who knew him. He is survived by his siblings and their spouses, Rosalind and Gary Nolen, Rickey and Dana Noland, and Rhonda Slocum; nephews and spouses, Ryan and Emily Noland, Stephen and Kasee Noland, Rickey and Lacey Noland; nieces, Jamie Nolen and Rebekah A. Slocum. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Sr. and Rebecca Slocum. The family will hold a celebration of his life at a later date. So many fun times with much laughter when we was younger. I am so sad hearing this. I’m sure Mrs Becky had open arms greeting him. Prayers for all

I really hate hearing this…Me, Joey. Bob MacLuskie, and Steve Sanders rode to Grand Isle together. One of the most fun trips, we laughed so much. Great memories. Rest in peace my friend
