Shirley Dene North

Shirley Dene (Arndt) North, a resident of Baton Rouge passed from this life and entered into the presence of her Savior, Jesus Christ, on October 9, 2021, at the age of 93. She was born on March 5, 1928. Visitation will be held at Live Oak United Methodist church in the Chapel (not the main sanctuary) on Sunday, November 7, 2021, from 2:00PM until the memorial service at 3:30PM conducted by Rev. Dickie Davis. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Marion L. (Mel) North; brother, Willis Arndt; and sisters, Dorothy Schaefer and Joanne Sievers. She is survived by 2 children, Marci Lynn Hancock (John) and Mark Lawrence North (Teri); 3 grandchildren, Sarah Hancock Easterly (John), Eric North (Rachel), and Christopher North (Lauren); and 5 great-grandchildren, Kevin Musgrove (Maddie), Isaac, Lark, Laurel and Lily Easterly.
