Billy Don Hull

December 24, 1942 – January 10, 2022

A loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Billy Don Hull went to be with his Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, January 10, 2022. He was born on December 24, 1942 in Denham Springs. Billy is survived by a loving family, including his wife, Linda Hull,  daughters, Donna Hand and husband Tony, Laura Hull, and Alisha Barnum. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Meaghan Burk and husband Evan, Austin Hand and wife Holly, Clayton Hand and wife Alaina, Christopher Smith, Amber Hariford and husband Jon, Christian Williams and Dane Stephenson, Garret Watson and wife Sarah, Abby Idler and husband Kyle, and Carly Barnum; great-grandchildren, Liam, Harris and Mary Margaret Burk, Jane Austin and Caroline Hand, John Layton Hand, Cash and Monroe Watson, River, Houston, and Eloise Idler, MJ Hariford, and Harper Stephenson. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry Ellis and Georgia Estelle Hull, and brother Jimmy Hull. Pallbearers will be his grandsons Austin Hand, Clayton Hand, Christopher Smith, Garrett Watson, Evan Burk, Kyle Idler, Jon Hariford, and Dane Stephenson. He was a wonderful husband to his wife of 56 years. Their marriage was centered around a love of Christ and then each other. His legacy is one of faith and a love for Jesus Christ. It will live on in his 3 children, 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren for many years to come. He always loved to have a cup of coffee and talk about sports, gardening, and fishing with his lifelong friends; but he never shared where his favorite fishing holes could be found. The family will be receiving visitors at First Baptist Church, Denham Springs, on Monday, January 17, 2022, from 9am until services at 12pm conducted by his son-in-law, Reverend Tony Hand and his pastor, Dr. Leo Miller. Burial will be in Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery.
