William David Jackson

December 12, 1938 ~ January 18, 2022

William (Billy Jack) David Jackson, age 83, passed away January 18, 2022, at his residence in Slidell, La.  Bill worked as a machinist before retiring to live on the Amite River in French Settlement, La. He loved to hunt, fish, camp, travel and attending Bluegrass Music events. He was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church where Bro. Paul Taylor was his pastor. Bro. Paul has been there for him through most of his setbacks and celebrations in his retired life and a fine example to the rest of us. Bill was also a United States Army veteran. He will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him.

Services will be at Seale Funeral Home, in Denham Springs, La., on Monday, Jan. 24, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., by Bro. Paul Taylor. The family requests that friends observe visitation from 9:00 a.m., until time of services. Burial will follow services, at Beech Ridge Cemetery in Denham Springs, La.

Bill is survived by his wife, Muriel (Priebe) Jackson; sister, Charlene Griffith and husband Sam; son, David Jackson and wife Kimberly, daughter, Kym Wright and husband Don; stepdaughters,

Mary Priebe and Cheryl (Priebe) Jackson; stepson, Bill Priebe and wife Cindy; grandchildren, Nick Jackson and wife Olivia, Brittney Rodriguez and husband Jon; Renee Lagrange and husband Brandon; Corey Wright; Joshua; Matthew; and Benjamin. Several great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William and Bonnie Jackson; Sandra (Mott) Jackson; brother Malcom Jackson and sister Marilee Jackson-Blade.
