Jo Ann Middleton

Jo Ann passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022 in Baton Rouge at the age of 79. She was a resident of Walker and a native of Bessemer, Alabama. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert G. Middleton; daughters, Melissa Waddell (Brian) and Leigh Braud (Jacob); son, David Middleton (Jeannie); sisters, Faye Troxler and Ann Favre; brother, Jimmy McGraw; granddaughter, Hayden Waddell Croucher (Miles); grandsons, Bailey and Mason Braud; nephew and Godchild, Patrick Troxler. preceded in death by her parents, Richard Thomas and Mildred Lucille Cook McGraw; Sisters, Carol Manning and Kay Melton; brothers, Charles McGraw and Gene Brantley. Pallbearers will be Bailey Braud, Mason Braud, Jacob Braud, John Wild, Kenny Middleton and Paul Chopin. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Visiting will resume at Amite Baptist Church on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 9:00 AM until religious services at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. She was a member of Amite Baptist Church, Denham Springs. Jo Ann was a Sunday school teacher for over 50 years. She loved watching Alabama football games and Atlanta Braves baseball games. She loved attending her grandchildren’s sports and working in her flower beds and she read her Bible daily. Please sign our online registry book.
