Joy Elaine Duplessis

January 14, 1959 – January 22, 2022

A loving wife mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend went to her eternal home on Saturday January 22, 2022. She was 63 years old. After living with four males, she enjoyed spending time with her nieces and grandnieces. She leaves behind to cherish her memories her loving husband of 38 years, Jimmy Duplessis; two sons, Chris, Dru; sister, Rose Cagle and husband Paul; brother, Johnny Compton; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home on Thursday January 27, 2022 from 1pm until Celebration of Life Service at 3pm. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park. She was preceded in death by her son, Marshall Duplessis and her parents, Jimmy and Barbara Compton and her brother, Jimmy Compton Jr.
