He loved hunting, hunting, and hunting. It didn’t matter if it was hunting deer, turkey, trapping, fishing or making his nets. If it was wildlife related he loved it. He was one of the cofounders to help start the 444 Hunting Club in 1984. He loved to share and teach many of his family traditions such as gardening, making and smoking sausage, fish fries, making jambalaya and frying turkeys.

He loved the Lord and served as a Sunday School teacher in the early 1970’s. He served as a church Deacon from 1976-2022.

He wanted to share a few of his favorite Scriptures:

Psalms 30:5

Psalms 23

And finally II Timothy 4:7

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.
