You were our rock. You were always the one who would tell it straight, you were our doctor, and the one person I could always talk to about anything! I will miss you and love you for the rest of my life. But I’m so thankful that you are no longer suffering, and you are being held in the arms of Jesus. There is no friend like a sister, and I am truly blessed that you were both to me!

Elayne faced the many challenges given to her during the past several years with courage, optimism, and most of all faith. She was a good friend, and she will be missed. Rest in peace Elayne.

So so sorry to hear this…I knew Elayne as a nurse in two different areas – the newborn nursery/NICU when I was working postpartum & under her leadership in the Quality Review Services Dept. Both at MS Baptist Medical Center. I always enjoyed working with her. I respected her & considered her to be a friend. Huge loss for all who knew her.
