Carolyn Louise Cressionnie Sartin

Carolyn Louise Cressionnie Sartin, 80, of Denham Springs, LA, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2022. She worked for many years at the DMV before retiring. She loved her work and was constantly referencing her co-workers and the people she worked with. Carolyn was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by daughter, Sandra Sartin Hidalgo (Larry); son, Kenneth Wayne Sartin; grandchildren, Shanna Sartin Sizemore (Gordon), Douglas Glen Guidroz, Jr. (Brooke), Kayleigh Hidalgo Reid (Aaron), Joshua Michael Sartin (Mae), Sheena Sartin Prelow (Marcus); numerous great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Jackie Sartin; and her best friend, Sue Arnaud; as well as many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Major B Sartin, Jr.; sons, Alan Jay Sartin and Robert “Bobby” Lane Sartin; grandson, Kenny Wayne Sartin; parents, Charles and Lula Rae Cressionnie; brother, Sonny Cressionnie. A graveside service will be held at Evergreen Memorial Park, Denham Springs, Wednesday, March 16, at 11 a.m. A special thank you to the staff of Golden Age Nursing home for the care given to Carolyn during this difficult time.
