JoAnn Boudreaux Maloney

July 3, 1951 ~ March 27, 2022

God’s blessings filled our heart with Joy, Peace, Love, and yes sometimes craziness for 70 years with the presents of our beautiful sister JoAnn Maloney. On March 27th at 10:10 a.m. JoAnn was able to meet her master in heaven. Her fight with Asthma and COPD finally came to an end.

JoAnn was an amazing young woman. She was strong, high spirited and very determined. She was capable of doing anything she wanted and never let anything or anyone stop her. She loved people and was always happy. Her most fondness times was with animals.  She had many cats and dogs in her lifetime and cherished every moment with them. She even created her own animal sitting business. Johnnie’s animals were always excited to see her when she came home from vacation except when JoAnn was babysitting them. LOL

JoAnn never had children. She was always spending time with her family’s children. Her precious moments were with her niece Samantha Hughes. She always said Sam was her child and would do anything for her. JoAnn always wanted the best for all her nieces and nephews and they all knew she loved them.

JoAnn was loved by her brothers Tommy Hughes, James Hughes and sister Johnnie Duplessis. She had many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

As difficult as it was for her family and friends to tell JoAnn goodbye it was precious to know that she will be reuniting with her parents and sister, Pat in Heaven. Can you imagine she finally stepped in the golden gates and for the first time in 70 years she was able to touch the hands and set eyes on her Creator.

JoAnn will be missed by many and we know that her memories will live forever. One day we will join her in Heaven and will be greeted with her beautiful smile.

We want to invite everyone to Keith and Johnnie’s house for her celebration of life this Saturday, April 2ND for 2:00 pm at 17511 Lake Ct., Greenwell Springs, La. 70739.  If you have any questions you can message me through my husbands Facebook page, Keith Duplessis.
